Less than one week after ICE’s murder of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston, ICE has murdered another in Biddeford, ME.

In recent weeks, ICE detainments have surged to 2,000 per day across the country — A massive escalation driven by the White House and backed by billions in ICE funding. The major influx of ICE agents into our communities is a threat to us all. Their reckless repression could result in any member of our community being hurt, or even killed. Back in January, two US citizens, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, were murdered by ICE agents during a surge in the Twin Cities. We continue to demand justice for Renee, Alex, Lorenzo, and all victims of ICE terror.

Immigrants are critical contributors to the functioning of our society overall, and should not be forced to live in constant fear of detainment and deportation. From Texas to Maine to Racine, we demand not just ICE out of our communities, but full and equal rights for all immigrants!
