Support Northside families to get clean, lead-free water at the Clean Water Program cookout fundraiser! 🌭

The CWP is a monthly distribution of filtered, lead-free water provided by PSL Milwaukee and Tricklebee Cafe to people living in homes connected to lead laterals. Ever since the City of Milwaukee mandated the use of lead for laterals starting in the 1870s (making the mayor’s family very rich), generations have been impacted by lead poisoning related to drinking water.

Grassroots activists have forced the city to pick up the pace to replace the laterals, but in the meantime we continue to provide for families who can’t afford to keep up with filters and bottled water. Our volunteers put our own time and money to run this monthly distribution, and we’re calling on the community to help! Come through on August 2nd to learn more about the CWP, enjoy a delicious cook out by Tricklebee and support the cause!
